New Work on Exhibit - "Clay on the Wall"

Landmark Arts - Galleries of the Texas Tech University School of Art is hosting the 20th annual "Clay on the Wall" invitational exhibition this month. Curated by Glen Brown who wrote the catalogue essay the show opens on January 22nd, and runs through February 24th, 2013. I just completed a new wall piece for the show titled "Summer's Over II". I was interested in translating the concept for "Summer's Over" into two dimensions and began re-investigating porcelain for decals and sculptural forms at small scale. I love the surface of the glazed porcelain and it lumimous jewel-like quality.
